Do you deliver to anywhere in Australia?

We deliver to anywhere in Australia direct from our quarries or warehouses.

Can Sandstone be used inside as well as outside?

Sandstone and Limestone products are both excellent products to use inside and outside your home or business office. Outside they are great for all landscaping needs including retaining walls, garden steps, wall cladding, walking path and driveway pavers, swimming pool surrounds and garden edging.

Inside they can be used for both cladding on all walls, feature walls, pillars and fireplaces, floors tiles in wet and dry areas and for internal garden edging as well. It is well used as an internal garden feature edging as it is easy to keep clean yet is not affected by water.

Sandstone bricks and even large blocks can be used as interior and exterior walls of new residence buildings.

Can I choose the colours I want?

At Brisbane Sandstone we do our best to meet the colour requirements of our clients but we cannot guarantee precise delivery as sandstone colour varieties vary depending on the area and depth of the quarry the sandstone is cut from.

Nevertheless we always try to complete an order from the same area to ensure colour similarly.

It may be difficult if you order at a later date to colour match a previous order.

What is the difference between blocks and logs?

Blocks are usually descriptive of 1 metre length blocks whereas longer 2 metre blocks are more frequently called 'logs'.

Can I pick up Sandstone Blocks and Logs from the quarry?

The simple answer is NO. This is due to insurance and occupational health requirements and safety procedures; it is just too dangerous.
